If you haven't been able to take advantage of the plethora of markets in Shreveport-Bossier City, LA that are open on Saturdays due to scheduling conflicts, you'll love that the new free Barksdale market is back and open on Sundays!

What's the scoop on the new Sunday market coming to Bossier City?

The new, free Barksdale Market is back and will be open on Sundays from 10 am - 2 pm at 3224 Barksdale Blvd. in front of Bedrock Academy, in Bossier City, through November 12th. Admission and parking are both free.

Organizer Chris Graham with InstaGraham Events says they've already secured dozens of your favorite vendors from the popular Bossier City Farmers Market but are still accepting applications for more. Chris also says, 'There's something for the entire family. We are also leashed pet-friendly. Bring your appetite and enjoy the indoor seating area!'

I don't know about you, but it sounds like a fun place to stop after church for lunch. Other things you can expect to find are fresh local veggies and fruits, jams, salsa, honey, BBQ, baked goods, jellies, pickles, freshly squeezed lemonade, handmade soap, southern comfort food, flowers, tamales, delicious baked goods, crafts, jewelry, pet goods, real fruit smoothies, handmade goods, art, plants, leather/woodwork, candles, seasoning blends, coffee, kids' activities, free live music, face painting, and more.

You can like and/or follow the Barksdale Farmers Market on Facebook here or find them online at BarksdaleMarket.com.
