Barksdale Service Man Arrested On Charges of Child Pornography
A United States service man signed on to protect our country, but allegedly, it was our country's youngest who needed protection from him.
Matthew Daigle is currently in Bossier Max and no bond has been set after his arrest.
The 23 year old airman, stationed at Barksdale Air Force Base, has been arrested by Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office detectives on two counts of Distributing Pornography Involving Juveniles.
BPSO detectives executed a search warrant of the residence of Daigle, of the 300 block of Gaston Lane in Bossier City, and during that investigation, they seized Daigle's electronic devices, which demonstrated he had distributed pornography involving juveniles.
Bossier Detectives Say That More Images Could Lead to Additional Charges
Those electronic devices will undergo further digital forensic examination to determine if they are storing any additional incriminating images.
During an interview at the Bossier Sheriff's Office, detectives say that Daigle was cooperative and confessed to distributing the pornographic images.
This matter is still under investigation.
