E! News reports Bella Hadid and The Weeknd have officially broken up again.

According to the outlet, the couple has parted ways one year after getting back together last summer, with sources saying "distance" and busy schedules played a role in their decision to call it quits for a second time.

"They are in different places right now, physically and mentally," the insider explained. "Bella is prepping for her fashion week commitments and Abel is working on his music and his upcoming acting debut."

"They have been arguing a lot recently," the source added. "[They] haven't spent quality time together in months."

Interestingly enough, 22-year-old Hadid has not posted any Instagram photos with The Weeknd in months. In fact, the last pics she shared were in March during a romantic vacation getaway together.

However, there's a good chance the supermodel and Canadian singer will reconcile in the future, with sources saying, "They hope to get back together at one point but for now are focusing on themselves and their projects."

Back in December 2018, during an interview with Vogue, Hadid gushed over the "Earned It" hitmaker, saying he's the most beautiful person she knows and that he makes her "laugh the hardest."
