Big Freedia Announced for Shreveport Concert this October

Get ready, Shreveport! The Queen of Bounce, Big Freedia, is making her way up from New Orleans to Shreveport this October. Freedia is well known for her infectious energy, vibrant stage presence, and bass-heavy dance anthems. The Queen of Bounce takes the stage at Fatty Arbuckle's Pub in Shreveport, LA, this fall. Big Freedia is more than just another musician from NOLA. She's a cultural phenomenon that you might not have realized influenced so many. As the trailblazing Queen of Bounce, she brought a unique sound that was only found in New Orleans to a global audience. Freedia has collaborated with and continues to contribute to world-famous artists like Beyoncé and Drake.

Freedia Goes Gospel Before Shreveport Show

Shreveport is buzzing with excitement for the show since its announcement. Coming off the announcement that Freedia's next Album, Pressing Onward, drops on August 8th, just ahead of her Shreveport concert date on October 11th. Pressing Onward will be a new sound for Freedia because, for the first time, she's producing a gospel album with heavy bounce influences.

The concert will be at Fatty Arbuckle's Pub in Shreveport, LA, at 500 Clyde Fant Parkway. Tickets are already available on Fatty Arbuckle's website for $20 before taxes or fees. There's no tour announced as of yet for this concert. In fact, Freedia's own website doesn't list it yet either. It's possible the Shreveport show will be part of a release tour for Pressing Onward after it's released on streaming and in stores.
