Earlier today reports circulated that the Inaugural Legacy Fighting Alliance Women’s Flyweight Champion, Andrea "KGB" Lee was going to make her UFC debut next weekend at UFC 216. But sources with knowledge of the situation tell KEEL News that Lee will not be making her UFC debut next weekend in Las Vegas.

It sounds like Lee will be signing with the UFC for a future bout, but that debut will not happen as soon as UFC 216.

Earlier reports said that Lee was set to face off with Kalindra Faria, who is the Titan FC Bantamweight Champion who’s career record is 18-5-1. Faria’s first professional fight took place in 2009, 4 years before KGB’s first amateur fight took place at Ascend Combat – Mayhem 3.

KGB’s professional record stands at 8-2, with one of the losses coming by decision. Lee is recognized as one of the best female MMA prospects in the world. She’s a 2-time Louisiana Golden Gloves Champion, as well as the 2013 Amateur National Golden Gloves Champion. She also owns multiple Muay Thai Champions during her career.

The MMA community was so excited at the idea of Lee debuting, people were Tweeting out images of fan-created posters featuring Lee's image like this:
