$5 Pet Shots at Bossier Rabies Clinic on April 26
Pet families of Bossier City, Shreveport, and beyond can take advantage of Hand In Paw's Spring Rabies Clinic on April 26th. New pet owners, or those who just haven't had the chance yet, can get their dogs or cats vaccinated for rabies, microchipped, and treated for fleas this April.
Friends of Bossier City Animal Control & The Spring Rabies Clinic
Hand In Paw has been helping care for the animals of Bossier City, working hand in "paw" with the Bossier City Animal Control since 2006. HIP is made up of volunteers who help shelter, adopt, foster, care, and transport the strays of Bossier City.
HIP doesn't only help out the strays of Bossier, they'll be helping out the pets of the whole SBC on April 26th at the Spring Rabies Clinic.
The Spring Rabies Clinic will be held at the Bossier City Animal Control department at 3217 Old Shed Road from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Pet owners will be able to bring their pets up to the clinic and drop only $5 to have their pet microchipped, vaccinated for rabies, or just treated for fleas. HIP warns the event will only take CASH so make sure to plan accordingly.
Even among animals, a bit of civility will be required, so make sure your dogs are leashed and your cats are brought in a carrier.
If you want to help HIP in its mission, you can apply to help foster animals staying at the Bossier City Animal Control, or if fostering isn't really up your ally you can donate to HIP from the links on their website.
