Bossier Restaurant Receives National Praise
My brother Carlos is an excellent chef and restaurateur with several successful restaurants in his portfolio. He is often brought in as a consultant for failing restaurants or entrepreneurs that want in on the restaurant world. I remember the first time he brought up Lucky Palace in Bossier I told him he had to take me with him.
There is no doubt that when it comes to food my brother never steers me wrong. I went on the search with him to see if this Chinese restaurant with a vast wine selection lived up to the hype. After countless visits to Lucky palace I can say, the hype is forever real. It's not only locals celebrating Chinese food and the limitless wine pairings at Lucky Palace. Wine Spectator recently published an article that gave the nod of approval to Kuan Lim's labor of love.
Lucky Palace was featured alongside restaurants in New York City, Las Vegas, and Miami. The competition was fierce, to say the least. Wine Spectator had nothing but praises when it came to the gem of a restaurant in Bossier, "Lucky Palace is a beacon of Chinese cuisine in Louisiana, offering a massive menu of classic dishes alongside a Best of Award of Excellence–winning wine list."
The authors acknowledged the by-the-glass options which my bank account loves and the exceptional champagne options that are not offered anywhere else in Shreveport-Bossier. They also name-dropped some of my favorite dishes on the menu. "wines can be paired with the restaurant’s many small plates, including duck on a scallion pancake and cold sesame noodles, or with seafood options like crispy prawns, lobster tempura and alligator with garlic sauce."
I am grateful that we have so many amazing restaurants to choose from in Shreveport-Bossier, and I get even more thrilled when they get the nod from Wine Spectator.
