According to CNN, Aaron Hernandez, former NFL Player for New England Patriots and Convicted Murderer, was found dead at 3:05 a.m.at the Massachusetts Department of Correction.
He was serving a life sentence for murder.

The Massachusetts Department of Correction told CNN that "Mr. Hernandez was in a single cell in a general population housing. Mr. Hernandez hanged himself utilizing a bed sheet that he attached to his cell window. Mr. Hernandez also attempted to block his door from the inside by jamming the door with various items."
