Britney tweeted, ‘I know everybody is excited about the Super Bowl, but I personally can’t wait to see the next episode of Modern Family. Funniest show on TV.’ Sofia Vergara immediately retweeted the post, and Britney’s manager followed up with the tweet, ‘Britney Spears on Modern Family? What do you guys think?’ That’s all it took for the fans to start an online campaign and ‘#Get Britney On Modern Family’ became a trending topic. Britney acted surprised by the response and posted ‘You all are at it again. Look what’s trending.’ No word on if she managed to snag a cameo yet.
