In what might be the craziest thing this writer has ever reported, there are actual people, here in the United States of America, who are protesting having Buc-ee's come to town... Who peed in their Beaver Nuggets?

Here in Louisiana, we’ve been begging for a Buc-ee's to come to town and we’re finally getting one just down the road from us on I-20 in Ruston, LA. Buc-ee's, which originated in Texas, is everything our neighbors to the west are... big and bad to the bone. Now obviously, there’s a lot to recommend about the town of Ruston already, but now, it’ll be on the map in a more significant way.

Why are people in Virginia protesting a potential Buc-ee's opening in Stafford County?

We are people in Virginia saying, ‘Not in my backyard?’ Wherever a new Buc-ee's lands, the economy prospers. However, these residents say that they don’t want the extra traffic. Excuse me? Stafford County is a suburb of Washington D.C. I hardly think you’ll notice any extra cars in that traffic nightmare.

My verdict? These people are idiots. Buc-ee's employees make mad money and the company is good to them. Just ask that girl who went viral when she found out she made less money than a custodian at Buc-ee's. I say, bring on the Beaver Nuggets! What do you think?
