Caddo Car Crash Leads to Drug Bust
Caddo Sheriff’s deputies arrested two men following a major crash on Friday evening.
After 8 p.m., deputies responded to a single-car crash at the weigh station on I-20 East.
According to Sgt. EJ Parker, the driver and passenger of a silver car got into an argument. At one point, the passenger grabbed the steering wheel causing the car to crash into a structure by the weigh station.
After further investigation, deputies discovered 11 pints of Promethazine syrup, a jar of marijuana and a scale inside the car.
The driver, 26-year-old Rio De Janero De Marquez Brown will be charged with possession with intent to distribute schedule I and possession with intent to distribute a legend drug. Meanwhile, 24-year-old Willie Robinson will be charged with careless operation and simple battery. Both Brown and Robinson will be booked into Caddo Correctional Center.
