Calcasieu Parish Deputies Do The Cupid Shuffle During Mardi Gras

Seeing that I was a Calcasieu Parish Sheriff Deputy for 11 years, when I saw this video, I just smiled and laughed and knew I had to share it with y'all.

Sometimes, the community feels like the police are not friendly, but, in fact, they really are. They are here to protect and serve our community, but they also like to have fun with the public.

Mardi Gras just ended, but during the festival season, people love to have fun, including the police.

In this video you are about to watch, four Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's deputies from the motorcycle division were posted up at the civic center, getting ready to escort the parade.

There was a float next to them, and they started playing the Cupid Shuffle. The police officers started dancing and breaking it down. This will put a smile on your face. Thanks, CPSO deputies. You're awesome!
