Calvin Harris Recovering After Car Accident, Cancels Shows

Get well wishes to Calvin Harris, who was injured in a car crash Friday in Los Angeles and was forced to cancel two scheduled shows.

According to authorities, Harris's SUV was struck by a Volkswagen Beetle that crossed over the center divider on a narrow canyon road. The crash ejected the female driver, who was not wearing a seat belt and was later treated for a broken pelvis. Harris sustained a cut to the nose and was treated and released from a local hospital. There is no word of other injuries.

"Adam was a passenger in a vehicle that was struck in a serious collision last night in Los Angeles," a rep for Harris said in a statement. "He was examined by doctors and sustained a number of injuries. He has since been checked out of hospital and is now recovering. We wish all the other passengers involved in the incident a fast recovery."

"As a result he was not able to perform in Las Vegas at his OMNIA [nightclub] residency and will be unable to perform tonight at Hangout Festival in Gulf Shores, Alabama," the rep added.
