Two people are wounded in a shooting in Shreveport's Cedar Grove neighborhood Sunday night.

Police got a call about several shots being fired near the intersection of Southern and East 60th. When they arrived they found an 11-year-old boy shot in the arm and an adult male shot in the head. That victim, believed to be 17 or 18 years old is fighting for his life at Ochsner LSU Hospital this morning. Both victims were in a vehicle in the area when they were shot. Witnesses tell police they heard about 30 shots during this incident.

Police believe the gunshots were exchanged between people in two vehicles including the vehicle the two victims were in. One weapon was recovered on the scene.

Some homes in the area were hit by gunfire and one man tells KTBS his washing machine was hit by a bullet.

Police are on the hunt for at least three men who were seen in the other vehicle fleeing the area shortly after the burst of gunfire.
