Shreveport’s Biggest Party? Krewe of Centaur Grand Bal 2025

Shreveport just partied at the biggest event of the year. Every single year the Krewe of Centaur hosts the Grand Bal which always ends up being the biggest bal in Northwest Louisiana. This year the Grand Bal XXXIII took over the Shreveport Convention Center on Saturday, February 8th, 2025.

The Krewe of Centaur has been around for 33 years now, it was organized in 1991."The Krewe is bound together by the common goals of building a better community and the pursuit of good family fun. The Krewe of Centaur Mardi Gras Parade has grown over the years to become the largest parade in the Ark-La-Tex. We are one of the very largest, single parading Krewes in the State of Louisiana, and yes, that includes New Orleans."

Shreveport Just Experienced the Most Epic Grand Bal of 2025

Icons in Toyland was this year's Krewe of Centaur Grand Bal XXXIII theme. People from all over the Ark-La-Tex flocked to downtown Shreveport to experience the Tableaux presentation. If you have ever been to a Grand Bal hosted by the Krewe of Centaur you already know that it is a night where the booze is flowing and the music is turned all the way up. Bringing Life to the Party took over for entertainment this year, and the energy was electrifying. You have probably seen pictures all over social media and if you have "fomo" just know there are several other Grand Bal's in Shreveport that may still have tickets available.
