Charlie Hunnam Drops Out Of ’50 Shades Of Grey’
Wanna play Christian Grey? Looks like that role's open again...
Charlie Hunnam has bailed on playing the S&M enthusiast in the film adaptation of E.L. James' "50 Shades of Grey".
Universal Pictures and Focus Features issued the following statement: "The filmmakers of Fifty Shades of Grey and Charlie Hunnam have agreed to find another male lead given Hunnam's immersive TV schedule which is not allowing him time to adequately prepare for the role of Christian Grey."
Hunnam is currently at work shooting the finale of the hit FX series "Sons of Anarchy".
If producers want to find a replacement, they'd better hurry; filming is scheduled to start November 5 in Vancouver.
