Controversial singer Chris Brown is telling fans that his next album, X, will "probably" be his last, saying now he's only famous for his brutal attack on then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009.

Brown, who is currently concentrating on his legal issues, including a hit-and-run incident in May, tweeted to fans, "Don't worry mainstream America. After this 'X' album, it'll probably be my last album ... Being famous is amazing when it's for ur [your] music and talent. I'm tired of being famous for a mistake I made when I was 18."

Brown reported to a California jail Monday and was booked on the hit-and-run charge. His probation stemming from the assault on Rihanna has been revoked, and he now faces up to four years in jail if found guilty. He's scheduled to be in court August 15.
