Community Party “Capturing Highland” Returns
Last year, a grand opening party for RAW the studio turned into a free party for the whole community. Capturing Highland, Mardi Gras in September was one for the books. It returns this year with new additions. Lowder Baking Company and Ono's Hawaiian restaurant will be bringing their unique flavors alongside Ki Mexico.
This event promises fun for your whole family, yes adult beverages will be available, but don't think this is a night meant just for adults. You and your family can enjoy live music from local bands like Magnolia Mae and Old Whiskey Revival a Country/Americana band.
Capturing Highland kicks off at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, September, 27th. There will be big tents set up between Raw the Studio and Ki' Mexico on 3839 Gilbert Dr, Shreveport, Louisiana.
Jo Claire Robertson a co-owner of Raw the Studio and the co-organizer of Capturing Highland said "We are excited to get the community together. We are just celebrating what Highland means to a lot of us. Good people, great food, wonderful drinks, and live music, centered around our favorite holiday, Mardi Gras." Hey parental units, there will be a bouncy house available courtesy of Southern Roots Dentistry.
