Coroner Releases Cause Of Winehouse’s Death

A British coroner has ruled that singer Amy Winehouse died of accidental alcohol poisoning. Coroner Suzanne Greenaway ruled "death by misadventure", saying, The unintended consequence of such potentially fatal levels (of alcohol) was her sudden and unexpected death."

Winehouse was found dead at her London home July 23 at the age of 27. An initial autopsy found no illegal substances in her system.
