Crawfish feels like it's literally worth its weight in gold this year in Louisiana, but we're still jonesing for a big 'ol pile of bugs. Here are a few of the things we'd give up just so we could afford some spicy, juicy crawfish goodness.

I won't lie, at this point, I'm considering giving plasma to buy some crawfish, but I just can't bring myself to make the appointment. Times are tough, man! Inflation, taxes, and insurance are all higher than Snoop Dogg, and crawfish aren't far behind... apparently, they're still hanging with Willie!

Seriously, the price of crawfish is so high, we're concerned about the Mudbug Madness Festival coming up Memorial Day weekend in Shreveport. If they have crawfish, will they be too expensive to eat? Heck, lobster is looking more affordable than crawfish at this point! Let's just put it this way, I've never been brave enough to eat a straight-tale crawfish because of all of the wives' tales about them... but at these prices, I'm eating it all!
