As the cavalcade of vinyl releases keeps rolling, Daft Punk are issuing two live albums just in time for Christmas (Dec. 23 to be exact).

'Alive 1997,' originally released in 2001, is culled from a performance at the Que Club in Birmingham, England. The original release featured just one long 45-minute track, and this new version is, apparently, a straight re-issue of the original. 'Alive 2007' was originally released in 2008, but never received a U.S. release at the time. 'Alive 2007' was recorded at Bercy in Paris in June of that year.

The prize for the diehard fans, however, will likely be the special 'Alive 1997 + Alive 2007' deluxe box set. The limited edition box features both live performances spread over four 180-gram LPs. In addition, there will be a hard cover, 50-page LP sized book, stickers, and a slip mat with the Daft Punk logo in phosphorescent ink. Also included will be a bonus LP, featuring additional tracks -- and a download card for all the material.

'Alive 2007' will be pressed on clear cyan vinyl while 'Alive 1997 will be on silver wax. Want to put this on your Christmas list? Get all the details you need on the releases right here.
