If stocking stuffers typically trip you up, fear not — there are more than a few new pop albums dropping in December 2016, and they'll collectively make your holiday shopping a snap.

While Christmas music will soon hijack radio waves far and wide, pop isn't conceding its musical real estate so easily. In the year's last month, John Legend will try to charm fans with his signature silky piano across Darkness and Light, his fifth studio album. All the while, Grace VanderWaal will see if she can make good on Simon Cowell's insistence that she could give Taylor Swift a run for her money with her first project Perfectly Imperfect.

And, in a beautiful celebration of music and theater, Kelly Clarkson, Sia, Alicia Keys and more of contemporary music's biggest stars will join together for The Hamilton Mixtape, a reimagining of songs from Lin-Manuel Miranda's insanely successful Broadway show (you can listen to Sia's and Kelly's tracks already).
