Dewayne “The Rock” Johnson Gets His Own Super Villain Movie

The guys and girls in charge of DC's movie universe have been on the ropes for a while.  While the titans at Marvel have been pelting out hit after hit at the box office, DC hasn't been so lucky.  With the Avengers, Deadpool, Guardians Of The Galaxy, and ripping the theaters a new one, and movies like Batman Vs. Superman turning in dismal numbers and garnering horrible reviews - DC needs a win.

This will be the first move the DCCU (DC Cinematic Universe) has made in a long time that I agree with.  They are hedging their bets on hugely bankable star  Dewayne Johnson.  That's exactly what Superman and Co. need!  A little "Fast And Furious" would punch up the whole "doom and gloom because everyone's parents were dead" bit!  Who doesn't want to see a little "people's elbow" being dropped on the good guys?

Shazaam is scheduled for May of 2019, but rumor has it our first look at Johnson as Black Adam will be in Jason Moma's Aquaman in October of 2017.
