Watch Diddy Face His Fear of Clowns on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’
They say that it's best to confront your fears head on, and that was the case for Diddy when he appeared on the Ellen show today (Oct. 25). The music mogul first denied Ellen's accusation that he is afraid of clowns, but that was quickly put to the test.
"No, impossible," he said denying the accusation. "I'm a Black man. I have so many other things to be fearful of, a clown isn't going to scare me. I'm not afraid of clowns."
Ellen decided to test out the theory. The moment Diddy was done denying that he is afraid of clowns, a clown made a guest appearance and frightened him out of his seat.
The Black 100 list creator started dancing to brush off his fear over the surprising moment. After catching his breath and laughing, he then thanked Ellen for giving him the surprise of a lifetime.
"You know I woke up this morning and said I want my life to be full of surprises, Ellen I thank you," he said. "You really affected my street cred with that."
Aside from facing his fears and getting caught up in breakup rumors, Diddy is out to make the world a better place. On Tuesday (Oct. 23) Diddy announced that he will be donating $1 million towards the opening of a Bronx, New York Charter School. The school is set out to open for the upcoming school year with 160 students. There is also a five-year plan in place to increase enrollment.
"I know from my own experience that receiving a great education makes a great impact on a child's future," he wrote as an Instagram caption. "I want our kids to have access to everything they need to succeed, in school and life. Which is why I'm also pledging $1,000,000 to help give our kids every advantage possible."
