Friday, I was one of the 10 million or so people that subscribed to Disney+. I know, I know, feeding the "evil empire" but that "evil empire" will always have my inner child. I'm one of those who never "cut the cord" to go to streaming my TV. I enjoy cable and my cost for it doesn't go into the extreme.

The only streaming service I subscribe to is Netflix. I use it for the Marvel TV series, their original entertainment and anime.

Going through my initial Disney+ scroll, my inner child about exploded. Under the Disney tab:

  • Darkwing Duck!
  • Duck Tales!
  • Tale Spin!
  • Chip and Dale's Rescue Rangers!
  • Gargoyles!!

Under the Marvel tab is the complete X-Men animated series! I can hear that intro in my head right now.

Man that gets me pumped every time. And Yes, I've already watched a couple of episodes.

The first thing I watched, however, is probably my favorite Disney animated movie Aladdin. Well, it's always a toss up between that and The Lion King. I wore out both of those on VHS. I think my parents still have them, actually.

Even yesterday, me and my girlfriend sat down and watched Captain Marvel and Avengers: Endgame. Disney+ is gonna take up a lot of my time, mainly going back and revisiting those childhood favorite shows. I mean Gargoyles!! And for $6.99 a month? Dude.

Too bad I'm not getting a kick back for any of this good talk. Disney+ is certainly worth a subscribe for the whole family to enjoy together.
