DIY Chocolate Gingerbread Men

Sometimes the best gift to give is a tasty treat. Some holiday treats are hard to make, but some are pretty easy. These chocolate gingerbread men are pretty easy.

Supplies Used:

• Candy Melts
• Gingerbread Men Mold
• Gingerbread Cookies
• Rolling pin
• Sandwich baggies
• Piping Bags

Start by gathering your desired colors and flavors. There are multiple of ways to melt your chocolates. I chose the microwave option. I placed the meltable disks in a piping bag and heated them in 30 second increments until completely melted.

I then took gingerbread cookies and beat them into crumbles to sprinkle onto the chocolate molds. I gave the mold about an hour to cool and harden. Then removed then from the molds and added the small detail with the red and white chocolates.

Overall this was a fairly easy recipe. I think next time I create these little guys I would add more chocolate the the molds before sprinkling the cookies.
