It Was a Sad Morning for Several Downtown Businesses in Shreveport.

Multiple businesses in downtown Shreveport walked into their shops to see their places had been vandalized. The Missing Link a local hot dog spot took to their Facebook page on Monday saying they would be closed to clean up and make repairs.

It wasn't just Missing Link that was vandalized. According to the Facebook post by Missing Link, nine other spots were hit.

The Facebook post said; "I apologize for the inconvenience but due to some vandalizing that happened early this morning, we will be closed today for cleanup and repairs. Please pass the word along. If you have any information concerning who has done this, I know 9 other businesses were hit so far in the downtown area, please contact us and/or the police."

The Shreveport Downtown Development Authority (DDA) posted on Facebook asking the community for information.

The Shreveport DDA took to their socials to try and get more information from the public. "Everyone- we are dealing with several acts of overnight vandalism. Last night/early this morning, several businesses downtown had windows broken out. Shreveport Police Department is aware, has initial descriptions, and is already pulling video at multiple locations to review. If you think you might have information that could help, please call Sgt. Greg Walker at 318-455-1004."
