Does Mike Make the List of Top College Mascots?

I'm not sure I agree with this, but Sports Illustrated is out with its list of the best college mascots.

Oregon State v Stanford

The Tree from Stanford checks in at #5.

TCU v Texas

4th on the list is Bevo from the University of Texas. Bevo the Longhorn Bull can be traced all the way back to 1916.

Florida v LSU

Mike the Tiger from LSU is #3 on this years list. If this was judged by habitat alone, Mike would easily win. He lives in a $3.7 million dollar 15,000 square foot palatial home just outside of Tiger Stadium. The live Mike is no longer transported to LSU games.

Las Vegas Bowl - Boise State v Oregon

Coming in at #2 is the Duck from Oregon.

Allstate Sugar Bowl - Texas v Georgia

And number 1 this year is UGA from the University of Georgia. This latest UGA is #10 in a long line of pure white English bulldogs. He lives in an air-conditioned on-field doghouse and is one of the most popular attractions at home football games.
