Drake Shares Mysterious Trailer for New Album ‘Scorpion’
There's only a few days left until the release of Drake's highly-anticipated Scorpion album and ahead of the project's June 29th drop, the Toronto MC shares a new trailer for the record.
Drizzy posted his mysterious trailer on Instagram on Monday (June 24). The video kicks off with Drake lounging at a house before making his way to the studio. While the clip doesn't reveal any new information about the project, an ominous instrumental plays throughout the video.
The "God's Plan" rapper previously teased the album in Toronto with a series of billboards that hint at a double-album. The billboards feature an owl fighting a scorpion, as well as one ad that reads "A Side B Side." Some of the other billboards include the phrases "Changing From Boy to a Man" and "Don't Hit Me When You Hear This."
Set to release on June 29, Scorpion will be executive produced by longtime collaborators Noah "40" Shebib and Oliver El-Khatib. A tracklist for the upcoming album has yet to be revealed.
In related news, Drake will also be kicking off his Aubrey and The Three Migos Tour soon. Set to begin on July 26 in Salt Lake City, Utah, Drizzy and Migos will make stops in Denver, Toronto, Detroit, Chicago, New York, Boston, Miami, Houston and more.
