Louisiana School Worker Accused of Selling Edible Marijuana
A cafeteria worker at a school in south Louisiana faces serious charges today. 45 year old Tymetrica Cohn was working as a substitute at Jewel M. Sumner High School. She is accused of selling homemade baked goods laced with marijuana. Tangipahoa Parish deputies got a tip that these baked goods were being sold to students. One teenager reported buying "edible marijuana" from a school worker.

The Tangipahoa Sheriff's Office released this statement:
Forty-five year-old Tymetrica Cohn of Kentwood, LA, was arrested today on narcotics charges following a Crime Stoppers tip claiming she was selling drugs to a student, says Chief Jimmy Travis.
Cohn was arrested and charged with:
(1) count - Possession/Distribution of CDS I
(1) count - Distribution of a CDS in a Drug-Free Zone.
Chief Travis reminds the public and students of the importance of the anonymous P3 tip app for reporting suspicious activity. "The safety and well-being of our students are paramount. We encourage using the 33 app to report anything they feel threatens their ability to learn in a safe environment," says Travis.
Deputies don't know how many students may have purchased the edible marijuana products from the cafeteria worker, but they are continuing to investigate this case and deputies urge any student with information to come forward with information about this case.
