In all honesty, you might not be able to get it for them anyway. But I'm getting ahead of myself.

Chances are if you're a gamer like myself, you already know of the cluster you know what that is Cyberpunk 2077.

While most things have been delayed because of Covid, this game has been pushed back and delayed for the better part of 8 YEARS.

And in the middle of a pandemic right before the holidays, they have decided to release it. On December 10th to be exact if I remember correctly.

What is Cyberpunk 2077? Peep the trailer below. (Warning - Adult themes, violence, language, and everything else that would make you want to buy it including a cameo from...well just watch it).

Massive star, amazing graphics, all the bells and whistles and SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY! Gimme the game I want it! Did you see all that stuff they just showed you?

But you see, part of the problem moving forward with this game is what you just saw in that trailer is not what they delivered.

The footage and such from the trailer above was what you were supposed get on PC but they made it seem like your experience on you gaming consoles would be the same. Not so much. See their statement (apology) below.

People were/are pissed. There were cries for refunds. Because not only did the game not look like what was advertised. It was full of bugs. And with that comes all the patches and hotfixes. The internet is undefeated and merciless. And the videos have not stopped coming.

You can literally search Cyberpunk Glitches and be on YouTube all night.

How bad is it? This.

They pulled it from the Sony Playstation store and you can get a refund if you purchased it digitally. Or so they say as I've read and heard nothing but horror stories about actually getting your money back. And that's just for Playstation. I've read nothing specifically for Xbox. Nor for people who can walk in and buy a physical copy of the game in a store.

Do yourself (and whoever might be asking for this for Christmas) a favor. Pass for now. Wait until they get all the kinks worked out. You're just asking for headaches and frustration. Do some more research and wait.

If it all pans out and they actually get it BACK on track say next month or so, then go for it. But if it keeps going this way and ends up in the discount bargain bin, you saved your money.

Initial reviews and the premise are amazing. And if you have a machine that can handle the specs for it, then by all means go for it. But if you're trying to play this on a gaming console, HARD PASS.
