UPDATE: On Tuesday afternoon (Feb. 26), Lil Xan's girlfriend Annie Smith set the record straight regarding the controversy surrounding her ultrasound photos being fake. In an interview with E! News, Smith blamed an unidentified girl of photoshopping the photos from her vlog and putting erroneous information on them and uploaded them to Google.

"When I posted my YouTube video with my ultrasound pictures, a girl—I'm not going to comment on who—photoshopped them with another person's name, year, birthday etc, and uploaded them to Google," she told the outlet.

Smith says the rumors have been disheartening for her and Lil Xan. "I'm honestly really disappointed that we announced it and now this is the rumor floating around," she said.

"I'm traveling and stressed at the moment so i think for the baby and myself it's best to stay in a positive environment," she added. "I really am just staying off the internet for the time being because it's really sad for me to see these things."

In addition, Smith also revealed that she is, in fact, engaged to Lil Xan and they are planning on tying the knot later this year.

ORIGINAL STORY:

Lil Xan and his pregnant girlfriend, Annie Smith, are now being accused by fans of faking a pregnancy after they shared their ultrasound photos in a vlog titled “FIRST BABY PICTURES” on her YouTube channel last Saturday (Feb. 23).

On Monday (Feb. 25), gossip websites and blogs started posting claims that the couple’s ultrasound photos resemble pictures that pop up when you search “week 9 ultrasound” on Google. Other people started googling different terms related to “ultrasound” and claim they saw the same results.

In the vlog, Smith shares ultrasound photos of her fetus on her phone. While showing the pics, she also stated that she’s about nine weeks pregnant. "I went to the doctor's yesterday for a different reason, and they ended up... checking up on the baby, and we found out we were a little bit further along than we thought...this is our baby at nine weeks,” she said.

The soon-to-be dad Lil Xan joked that the fetus has a huge head and could be an alien. As he carefully gazed at the pictures, he jokingly asked, "where's his dick?"

Although the couple received a slew of positive reactions after posting their personal vlog over the weekend, some are now starting to question the validity of the photos. Lil Xan and Smith have not addressed the accusations but they did disable the comments on their vlog post.

XXL has reached out to Lil Xan for comment but didn't get a response.
