Tomorrow, the US Senate with vote to confirm Brett Kavanaugh to the highest court in America. Naturally, this has been a hot topic for a few weeks now, and it all will conclude one way or another come tomorrow.
Today, the senate voted to pass Kavanaugh onto a confirmation vote, the final step before he would become Justice Kavanaugh.
It seems like most of America, like the senate, is split right down the middle when it comes to this. I'm sure if you've been online for more than three seconds, you've seen your own friends arguing over it. Everyone has their opinions that they are entitled to, including female lawyers in the state of Louisiana.
This week, nearly 200 female lawyers from our state signed a petition, pleading with Louisiana's two senators to vote no on Kavanaugh. The document highlights the judge’s temperament during the Senate Judiciary Committee Hearing as enough to disqualify him from consideration.
