Flooded University of Louisiana-Monroe Campus Presents Unique Stream for Fish to Swim [VIDEO]
Most universities call Freshmen "Fish", but this is entirely different.
Much of Louisiana is flooded. It appears that the rain only wants to hammer down on us. We've seen plenty in Shreveport-Bossier with many residents displaced. Schools across the area have been closed, including the University of Louisiana-Monroe. There is so much water on campus that the normal areas where students would walk have now turned into rivers.
Now there are fish swimming those paths.
Collin Landy posted a video of these guys to his Twitter. Since then, the video has been shared by national outlets like the Weather Channel, ABC News, and more. He believes the fish are carp, or at least that's what he has been told by others since posting the video.
It's insane...
Absolutely insane. I've been told that the fish are carp. You know, casually swimming in the streets! #ULM #lawx pic.twitter.com/z1mMYMHMyj
