Former Disney Star Michael Galeota Dies At 31

Michael Galeota, who starred as Nick Lighter on the Disney Channel's The Jersey, died Sunday at the age of 31.

A friend discovered the actor unresponsive at his Glendale, CA home and called paramedics.

Sources told TMZ that the actor had entered a hospital a few days before complaining of abdominal pain, but checked himself out against doctors' orders.

The cause of death is unknown at this time, and an autopsy is pending.
