This Gym is Offering Free Summer Memberships For Shreveport Teens
High school-students across the ArkLaTex searching for a place to stay active this summer just got access to one of the most complete workout facilities in the area for free!
According to a report from KSLA, Planet Fitness is rolling out the High School Summer Pass to help student athletes and fitness lovers stay in shape at locations across the country including 4 in the Shreveport - Bossier City area. The no-strings-attached summer membership is open to all high school students aged 14-19. Those under the age of 18 must register with the help of a guardian.
There's one more thing. I know what you're thinking - there's always a catch. This time, it's a pretty good one. In addition to giving teens full access to the gym, they'll also be automatically entered to win scholarships ranging from $500 to $5,000 dollars. The only down side is that High School Summer Pass users won't be able to use any other facility than the one they sign up for.
In order to take advantage of this offer, you've got to register online. Unfortunately, you can't do that until Monday, May 16th. The official pre-registration page is here, but right now you can only set a reminder to sign up for the program once the time rolls around. Once it starts, registration will remain open until August 31st.
