Rumors Swirl As A Real Estate Sign Appears Outside Shreveport’s Favorite Game Store
Dungeon masters, duelists, and spellcasters of the 318 rejoice as Shreveport's game store staple, The GamersXP, is moving to a new location. The store just teased the news on social media, and speculation is abuzz. Being one of the oldest running game stores in Shreveport, the store has created a large community and player base. A new location will be massive for the SBC's gaming community as a whole.
Why The GamersXP is Due for A Move
The GamersXP's first location was a small cutout in a strip mall on Pines Road in Shreveport, and after years of building a large community of regulars, they expanded to a new location in Shreve City that provided much more space, which was desperately needed for packed game nights.

One of the biggest problems facing the current location on Shreveport-Barksdale is the small and tight parking lot that fills up way too fast on game nights.
The current location was recently spotted with a realtor's sign outside, and the store's social media teased the news with a video of one of the owners posing with the lease sign and the caption "Stay tuned for all the sneak peeks and surprises we have in store for you!"

The Rumors Behind The GamersXP Closing or Relocating Shop
The rumors began buzzing when the post went up, and one commentator (likely sarcastically) expressed their condolences for the store possibly going out of business in response to the post. Another commentator lamented that the surprises might be a bigger parking lot, which the store responded to by simply saying, "oh yeah!"
That means one or two things coming for The GamersXP, either their about to pave a huge parking lot and lease out part of the store through a realtor, or (and this is much more likely) the store is prepping for a big move sometime soon.
