A boxing promoter announced Wednesday that George Zimmerman will take on rapper DMX in a charity boxing match to be held later this year.

Celebrity Boxing promoter Damon Feldman released a statement announcing that Zimmerman will step in the ring against DMX in a three-round bout. In the release Feldman said, "It has been all over the media that DMX wants George, and George[,] who has been training[,] has accepted and will do the match." Feldman added that the match promises to be "one of the Biggest Celebrity Boxing matches of all time."

A press conference has been scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 12 in Philadelphia where the date and location of the fight will be revealed.

DMZ says he's more than ready for the fight, telling TMZ, "I am going to beat the living f**k out him … I am breaking every rule in boxing to make sure I f**k him right up." Zimmerman was found not guilty last year after shooting and killing 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, who was unarmed at the time.

Proceeds from the fight will go to an undisclosed animal rescue group.
