Going to the Great Louisiana Fair? Here’s Your Ultimate 2025 Survival Guide
Summer fun is here in Bossier City as the Great Louisiana Fair has officially kicked off. From Shreveport to Haughton, people are lining up for rides, food, circus shows, a parakeet, and a petting zoo. The fair is only here for a short time, so don't miss out!
The Great Louisiana Fair is open at the Louisiana Downs in Bossier City from May 30th to June 15th, and parking onsite is free. This fair will be a blast for the whole family, with rides, mouthwatering fair foods, a bubble show, a live parakeet encounter, and circus acts from the Luna Family Circus!
Admission will cost $7 per person unless you're under 3 feet tall in which case you get in free.
Once you have your tickets you'll need credits for each ride, here's a chart of how much it costs to buy credits:
- 6 Credits - $8
- 30 Credits - $35
- 50 Credits - $50
If you're a fan of amusement rides, then you'll love that the Great Louisiana Fair will offer unlimited ride wristbands for $32 on Monday through Friday, or $37 for the weekend.
The fair food will be the main attraction for plenty, a representative from the Great Louisiana Fair told K94.5 we can expect to see unique pallets we normally wouldn't see, like Korean corndogs and carne asada street corn. With the days counting down until the Great Louisiana Fair closes up shop at the Louisiana Downs, you've only got less time to grab your friends and family to go try new foods and make memories.
