Help Jay and Jess Settle The Dispute, How Do You Pronounce ‘Cement’? [POLL]

Jay and I have debated relentlessly about how to pronounce "cement."

A few weeks ago, Jay and I were chatting when Jay said the word "cement." He pronounced it "SEE-ment."

This caught my attention because I have always pronounced it as "SUH-ment." In fact, it sounded so foreign when Jay said it that I didn't even realize what he was talking about.

Of course, we are talking about the concrete that is poured for sidewalks and such.

We debated that maybe people say it differently depending on if it is used as a noun or a verb, but he and I are sticking to our respective corners on this one. So, it's time to settle the score once and for all.
