Herby-K’s to be Featured on American Pickers

Our very own Herby-K's will be in the national spotlight this week as the local favorite appears on American Pickers.

The show has been a staple on the History channel for quite some time, and they were in town several months ago shooting for the show. I never found out who they visited while in town, until this past Wednesday.  On the episode that aired on the 20th, it showed a preview where the two hosts were sitting and eating at Herby-K's.

Personally, I can't think of many restaurants here in town that would be a better fit for that show, than Herby-K's. The place has history so thick, you can feel it in the parking lot.

According to my friend Chris Jay at 20x49, Angela Busy Doe claims even though the dynamic duo attempted to buy several items, they were unsuccessful.

“We didn’t sell them anything,” she said with a laugh. “None of our stuff’s for sale.”

Looks like all they made off with was a full stomach.
