This past week, I went out and did something a little selfish. I bought a brand new(well, new to me) car from my friends at ORR Kia. If anyone knows me, you know that for nearly a decade I've been driving around Shreveport-Bossier in about nine different vehicles, all ranging from $500 - $2,000. I've never really had what most people would consider a "nice" car, so last week was a big week for me!

Now, I'm rolling around town in a clean, black Dodge Durango and loving life. I chose black because I generally wear black clothes, and I figured it matched me pretty well. I really didn't look that deep into it, though, other than that.

After seeing a survey today, the color black actually suits me quite well.

A recent study published by ThisIsMoney.com dove deep into the actual colors of vehicles, and what those colors say about the owner. Here's what they found!

1.  A black car makes you seem charming, intelligent, and ambitious.  But also selfish.

2.  White or silver makes you seem trustworthy.

3.  Red makes you seem happy and adventurous, but also angry.

4.  Blue makes you seem loyal, kind, and considerate.

5.  Tan or brown makes people think you're grumpy, mean, and boring.

6.  A gold car makes you seem greedy and wealthy.

They didn't stop with just personality traits, though, they also found that pink cars get the most speeding tickets, while yellow cars get the least. They found that, generally, drivers of black cars are most attractive (GOT THAT RIGHT), while drivers of pink cars are least attractive. They found that drivers in red cars are the happiest, while Brown-car drivers are the least happy.Drivers with a gold car experience more road rage than anyone else, while drivers in white cars experience the least.

I found this entire study so interesting. The read the entire thing, please click HERE.
