Hockey Team Bus Involved in Fatal Crash in Shreveport

The bus loaded with the Lone Star Brahmas hockey team is involved in a wreck in Shreveport that leaves one person dead.

The wreck happened just after 11pm Friday night on East 70th at Gilbert Drive. The team was just a few blocks from their hotel when the bus was hit from behind by a truck that fled the scene when another vehicle traveling east hit an SUV near the scene of the original crash.

The driver of the SUV died at the scene.

No members of the hockey team were hurt in the crash.
