Howdy Homemade Ice Cream was founded by Dallas-based restauranter Tom Landis in 2015 and focuses on providing employment opportunities for people with special needs.
Bossier's Howdy Homemade Ice Cream is located at 2850 Douglas Drive. The reviews so far are stellar and we can't wait to try out all of their unique flavors and support their awesome staff. You can also pick up some Lasagna made by Holy Angels. The store hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 11am to 7 pm
and Sundays from 12 pm to 5 pm.
How did Holy Angels come to be? In 1963, three local, prominent families of Shreveport, Louisiana, the Pollards, the Gilsters, and the O’Briens, donated 64 acres to the Catholic Diocese for the purpose of establishing Holy Angels. The vision was to provide individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities a path to self-fulfillment through education, empowerment, spirituality, independence, and work. We are so grateful to have Holy Angels in our community.
