What an incredible night! I know personally, I had a blast at Saturday's 24th Annual Auction Against AIDS for the Philadelphia Center. It was truly a magical evening. The auction items, both silent and live were creative, unique and exclusive, the food superb and the cash bar provided by Byron and Laurel Fleming Richie did brisk business! Add all of that to 'reverse drawing' for a trip for two to any Fairmont property in the United State and Canada AND the booze barrel and you have yourself a mighty fine time! Huge shout out to the Horseshoe Casino and Caesar's Entertainment. They not only provided the venue, food, etc... at no cost to the Philadelphia Center, they even donated $50,000 to the cause! As soon as we get an official total for the amount raised by the event, I will be sure to pass on the information.

With that being said, I'd like to thank the Philadelphia Center for letting me be a part of the evening. It was an absolute honor to be asked to host for the evening. So many people worked so hard for this event and every dollar raised is going straight to the operation budget of the Philadelphia Center to make up for budget shortfalls from state and federal monies. Not only does the Philadelphia Center provide services with those with both AIDS and HIV, they provide prevention services, education and so much more... Many of these services not provided by any other agency in our area.
