How Spontaneous Are You? Shreveport-Bossier Edition

Yesterday, I was asked what one of the most spontaneous things I had ever done was... I was left scratching my head on that one. I mean, I don't think I'm boring... Keyword, 'think!' Then I ran across a survey this morning from SWNS Digital. I think the universe is telling me something because it says that the average American makes 6,709 spur-of-the-moment decisions a year, or about 18 a day. That feels excessive, so maybe it's time for a pop-up toga party?

With my boring-ness in mind, I turned to my social media friends and asked, 'What was the last spontaneous thing you did? And if you have a good hold my beer and watch this story, I wanna hear it!' Once again, y'all delivered the goods and then some!

Allison Adcock Barton won the day with her spontaneous behavior - Back n 2014 I got pissed 1 morning and loaded my truck n less than 3 hrs and moved to Nashville that night. Was there for almost a yr then came back. Not a smart move but worked with top wedding florist, made lots of friends, and now have my miracle almost 5 yr old. Wouldn’t change 1 bit!!

Marie Faulkner Harlan made one of her more spontaneous decisions with livestock in mind... Me, sister and a friend were out at sisters house in the county it was a Friday night, playing cards and having a few when it suddenly became a great idea to see what this cow tipping thing was all about. As soon as We climbed the fence to the other side I knew this was a bad idea. Lmao. I never knew that cows nor I could run that fast.

Stephanie Stuart made a courageous life-altering spontaneous decision - Almost two years ago I was suffering from depression and decided everything about my house and belongings made me sad so.... I called Stacy Lynn Berry to list my house, sold everything in it, sold it and traveled the USA from Louisiana, up to Ohio and over to California and back.

Michelle Levesque embodies the spirit of spontaneity - I went to take pictures of someone bungee jumping and decided to do it too!

Just in case you wondered what I answered when it came to one of my more spontaneous moments, it was a spur of the moment trip during my undergrad years in Ohio when I talked my roommates into heading south to New Orleans for Mardi Gras. It was so last minute that we ended up staying in Algiers! But I must say, we had the TIME OF OUR LIFE!
