Have You Spotted Hummingbirds In Your Yard Yet?
If you have been waiting, like several Shreveport residents, don't be discouraged. One metirolisgist had claimed that hummingbirds were supposed to be in the area on March 20th; however, according to the comment,s no one spotted any hummingbirds until Monday March 24th. Although you may be getting excited about feeding the beautiful birds that will grace us with their presence for a short while, there is something that several people do that is killing hummingbirds. If you think that adding natural honey or Kool-Aid to the hummingbird feeder is safe, think again; the only thing that you can add to a hummingbird feeder is plain white sugar.
