"The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" scored the all-time box-office record for Thanksgiving weekend with a whopping $110.2 million over five days. The previous champ was "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone", which took in $82 million in 2001.

Disney's "Frozen" also made history with the biggest-ever Thanksgiving opening with $93 million, beating out "Toy Story 2" which made $80 million in 1999.

"Thor: The Dark World" rounded out the top three with an estimated $15.4 million.
