"Ice Age: Continental Drift" knocked "The Amazing Spider-Man" out of the No. 1 spot in this week's box office tally.

The animated flick took in a cool $45.7 million over the weekend, while "Spider-Man" raked in $35 million for a second-place finish. The raunchy Seth MacFarlane comedy "Ted" came in third with $22.1 million.
