If You Live In Louisiana, You Have To Visit This Antique Mall
This past weekend, I drove down to New Orleans and back. On this drive, I was actively searching for places I didn't know existed.
I found a place unlike any other, and I recommend to anyone reading to travel down south and make plans to visit this ultimate antique mall.
For a few of you Louisianians that have stumbled across this state treasure, you already know what I'm talking about. For those yet to find this beauty, the name of the place is the Washington Old Schoolhouse Mall in Washington.
The mall sits in Landry parish, just six miles north of Opelousas. If you were to hope in the car right now and drive down, it would take you about two and a half hours. Not a bad trip considering the awesomeness that awaits you.
This mall is the ULTIMATE antique shop. Literally, anything and everything you could possibly want to stumble upon is sitting right in front of you. It's pretty huge too, so you could get lost in the mall for hours, and they have a nice place to eat on-site.
They are open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
I've found a bit of pictures to share with you, located below. You can also visit their Facebook page by clicking HERE!
